O Brasil tem recebido milhares de refugiados venezuelanos que, em sua grande maioria, entra no território nacional pela fronteira com o estado de Roraima em busca de melhores condições de vida ou mesmo para escapar da fome. Fica evidente que o fenômeno da imigração tem representado um importante desafio na área da saúde pública, com impacto ao nível das dinâmicas dos serviços de saúde dos países de acolhimento. As unidades observacionais consideradas foram crianças imigrantes em Boa Vista, capital do estado de Roraima. A amostra foi constituída por todas as crianças que residem nos abrigos para refugiados, de 2 a 13 anos, que aceitaram a participar da pesquisa no período de outubro a dezembro de 2021, caracterizando amostra por conveniência. Diante dos resultados, podemos concluir que existe a necessidade de políticas públicas voltadas para a saúde bucal dos imigrantes e refugiados. Tendo em vista a realidade ser de difícil acesso aos serviços de saúde oferecidos pelo Estado de acolhimento, tanto por questões de idioma, cultural, financeiro, e até mesmo a falta de informação. Com isso, mostra a necessidade de implantar medidas de políticas públicas, a fim de planejar e executar ações de saúde, de forma curativa e preventiva. Afinal, em nossa constituição e pelo regimento do SUS, todo e qualquer ser humano em território nacional temo direito à saúde. É dever do estado promover esta saúde nos refugiados que acolhemos.

Brazil has received thousands of Venezuelan refugees who, for the most part, enter the national territory through the border with the state of Roraima in search of better living conditions or even to escape hunger. It is evident that the phenomenon of immigration has represented an important challenge in the area of public health, with an impact on the dynamics of health services in host countries. The observational units considered were immigrant children in Boa Vista, capital of the state of Roraima. The sample consisted of all children residing in shelters for refugees, aged 2 to 13 years, who agreed to participate in the research from October to December 2021, characterizing a convenience sample. In view of the results, we can conclude that there is a need for public policies aimed at the oral health of immigrants and refugees. In view of the reality that access to health services offered by the host State is difficult, due to language, cultural, financial, and even lack of information. Thus, it shows the need to implement public policy measures in order to plan and execute health actions, in a curative and preventive way. After all, in our constitution and by the SUS regiment, every human being in the national territory has the right to health. It is the duty of the state to promote this health in the refugees we host.
