In this work we discuss the standard Hopf Bifurcation 'Theorem, but our main purpose is to analyse Hopf Bifurcation for symmetric differential equations. In this case it is given an application that involves coupled Van der Pol equations. The main tools used here are the Liapunov-Schimidt Method and Group Representations techniques.
