This work is concerned with the transversality properties of differentiable maps, and to relate the definitions of topological transversality and differentiable transversality following May. R. D. (12). In the chapters I and II we discuss part of (12), and in the chapter III we apresent a new caracterization of the above definitions of transversalíty. Some interesting exemples are given and discurssed in full details.
