Abstract in English
IDMS (Integrated Data Management System)components have been used to develop a system for controllingcapital quotas of a shopping mall. The System controls capitalreturns, ownership transferences, bank credits, monthly distributions, etc. ADS/O (Application Development System/on line) has been the component that served as the basic tool for the implementation. OLQ (On Li ne Query), OLE (On Line English), IDD (Integrated Data Dictig nary) and CULPRIT are also mentioned in the dissertation. SADT (Structured Analysis and Design Technique) is used to describe the system in detail. Actigrams and Datagrams are combined with structure diagrams a.la Constantine toexamplify the modules that are part of the system. The system has a total of 50 moda les for the processing on line and about 8 COBOL programs for the batch part of the processing. The ADS/O code for about 10 of these modules is presented. In the appendix a summary of ADS/0 features is presented together with information on OLQ resources. An evaluation of the development is included. It refers to how effective has been the useCÉ thesystem development methodologies employed as well-as of the data base management resources and of the query language facilities.
