Este trabalho se propõe a estudar a existência de um contínuo ilimitado de soluções periódicas que aparecem por bifurcação em equações diferenciais funcionais retardadas. Nosso principal objetivo é dar informações que assegurem que certas condições restritivas estão sempre satisfeitas. Neste sentido, provamos um Teorema que garante o aparecimento de um contínuo ilimitado de soluções periódicas com uma prova mais simples que a existente na literatura. Este resultado está baseado em vários resultados que foram provados anteriormente . No último capítulo algumas aplicações que são mais facilmente estudadas mostram a potência do nosso Teorema. Este Teorema soluciona novos problemas que eram difíceis de serem resolvidos por Teoremas anteriores.

This work is devoted to the study of the existence an unbounded continuum of periodic solutions that appear by Hopf bifurcation in nonlinear delay differential equations. Our main objective is to give some information that assure that certain restrictive conditions are always satisfied. In this sense we were able to prove a Theorem , that guarantees the appearence of an unbounded continuum of periodic solutions , with a simpler proof than the existing in the literature. This result is based on various previous results that we had proved earlier . In the last chapter some applications , studied earlier, show the power of the Theorem. This Theorem can solve new problems which were very difficult to be handle by the previous Theorems.
