Nós observamos o processo de Transferência de energia induzida por luz entre o Cr+3 e o Gd+3 no cristal de GdAlO3 dopado com cromo, o que acreditamos ser a primeira observação clara de ocorrência desse processo em sólidos. Também obtivemos os espectros de absorção, luminescência e excitação dos cristais de GdAlO3 e GdAlO3:Cr+3 e medimos os tempos de decaimento da excitação do Gd+3 no GdAlO3:Cr+3. As montagens experimentais utilizadas para a obtenção dos espectros de transferência de energia induzida, luminescência e excitação bem como a montagem para medida do tempo de vida dos estados excitados foram desenvolvidas por nós.

Abstract in English
We have observed the Light induced energy transfer process between Cr+3 and Gd+3 in the GdAlO3 crystal doped with chromium, believed to be the first clear observation of the occurrence of this process in solids. We have also obtained the absorption, luminescence and excitation spectra of the GdAlO3 and GdAlO3:Cr+3 crystals as well as the decay time of excitation of the Gd+3 in the GdAlO3:Cr+3. The experimental apparatus used to obtain the luminescence, excitation and induced energy transfer spectra and the one used to measure the decay time of the excited states have been developed by us.
