Abstract in English
The Retinal pigmented epithelium (RPE) is the mean cell structure responsible for the blood-retinal barrier. Nonetheless, in infectious process, as in ocular toxoplasmosis, the migration of the RPE to the parasite site may destroy the adjacent retinal tissue. The toxoplasmosis is a disease with wide distribution, and with many gaps about its pathological comprehension in relation to the ocular tissue. So, it became necessary more studies that explain more detailed the migration of this cellular group over the infection by T. gondii. Due to this, in this work it was assessed the RPE cells taxis mechanisms isolated from immunized and infected C57BL/J6 mice in comparison with ARPE-19 cells, isolated or in association with RAW 264.7, exposed to T. gondii, as the cytokines that are exclusively secreted during these interactions. From microscopical analyses as the conventional, confocal, and transmission electronic microscopy, we were allowed to observe an increasement of the migratory events of the target cells, beyond the identification of a relation with the interleukins-6 (IL-6), IL-10 and TNF- with the different situations of RPE/ARPE-19 cells expositions. In the other hand, the interaction with RAW 264.7 was able to exacerbate the response to the parasite and consequently, allowed us to classify an inflammatory profile
