Estudo realizado no Grupo de Atendimento Multidisciplinar ao Idoso Ambulatorial (GAMIA), do Hospital das Clínicas, da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo (FMUSP) e no Centro de Saúde Geraldo de Paula Souza (CSGPS), da Faculdade de Saúde Pública da USP (grupo de saúde do idoso), para avaliar quantitativa e qualitativamente, a qualidade de vida dos usuários (30 do GAMIA e 13 do CSGPS), no início e fim do atendimento por esses 2 programas. Concluiu-se que houve diferença nos domínios "físico", "relações sociais", "estado geral da saúde", "vitalidade", "aspecto emocional" e valorização do envelhecimento ativo

This quantitative and qualitative study was carried out at the Multi-discipline Clinic for the Elderly (GAMIA) at the Hospital das Clínicas (ICHC) of the University of São Paulo Medical School (FMUSP) and at the Geraldo de Paula Souza Health Center (CSGPS) at the University of São Paulo School of Public Health (geriatric health group) to evaluate the quality of life of elderly participants (30 from GAMIA and 13 from CSGPS) in the initial and final stages of care for these two programs. It was concluded that the study revealed a difference in the "physical", "social relationships", "general state of health", "vitality" and "emotional aspect" domains and the importance of active aging for the elderly
