O presente estudo visa estabelecer uma zona de problematização do campo educacional à luz do pensamento de Michel Foucault, sobretudo dos primeiros textos e livros do autor, surtidos ainda na década de 1960 e início de 1970. Disparada por alguns relatos de viagem do período medieval, nossa empreitada evoca, por um lado, os estudos do autor sobre as implicações entre linguagem e espaço e, por outro, suas pesquisas sobre a ordem do discurso. Arma-se assim uma cena onde os livros constituem plataformas singulares para análises de modos de composição, funcionamento e circulação de massas discursivas. Prefácios, prólogos e apresentações, precisamente na medida em que são laterais ao discurso de um livro, nos interessam, pois dão a ver as fissuras, as disputas e as estratégias que modulam a emergência de um determinado discurso em superfície. Finalmente, nossa proposta consiste em tomar conjuntos de livros ligados ao pensamento educacional como matéria para uma análise pormenorizada de suas discursividades, de suas composições, isto é, das modulações que constituem particularmente a ordem do discurso educacional no desenrolar das prefacialidades.

The present study aims to establish a problematizing zone in the educational field in the light of Michel Foucault's thought, especially from the author's first texts and books, which were still published in the 1960s and early 1970s. Triggered by some travelogues from the medieval period, our endeavor evokes, on the one hand, the author's studies on the implications between language and space and, on the other, his research on the order of discourse. Thus, a scene is set up where the books are unique platforms for analyzing modes of composition, functioning and circulation of discursive masses. Prefaces, prologues and presentations, precisely to the extent that they are lateral to the discourse of a book, are of interest to us, as they reveal the cracks, disputes and strategies that modulate the emergence of a discourse to a surface. Finally, our proposal consists of taking sets of books linked to educational thought as material for a detailed analysis of their discursivities, of their compositions, that is, of the modulations that constitute particularly the order of the educational discourse in the unfolding of prefacialities.
