Esta é uma pesquisa com e sobre bebês que vivem com suas famílias, ligadas a um movimento social de luta por moradia, no centro da cidade de São Paulo. Seu principal objetivo foi compreender a produção do espaço da Ocupação pelos bebês. Para isso, o ponto de partida foi a definição de Henri Lefebvre (2010) de que o espaço é obra e produto das relações humanas, dentre as quais incluo aquelas que ocorrem entre e a partir dos bebês. A produção dos dados ocorreu por meio da análise de fontes documentais, como legislações, fotografias e mapas, e de etnografia, com foco em quatro (4) bebês e suas famílias. O olhar detido às relações, práticas e representações possibilitou identificar a produção do espaço pelos bebês que ocorre por meio de agenciamento e por brechas no cotidiano programado. Além disso, foi possível reconhecer como eles, a seu modo, participam da luta, pela moradia e além dela.

This is a research study about and involving babies who live with their families, connected to a social movement fighting for housing in the downtown area of São Paulo. Its main objective was to understand the space production within the Squatter Settlement by the babies. To achieve this, the starting point was Henri Lefebvre's (2010) definition that space is a work and product of human relations, including those that occur among and through babies. The data production was conducted through the analysis of documentary sources such as legislation, photographs, and maps, as well as ethnography, focusing on four (4) babies and their families. Examining the relationships, practices, and representations allowed for the identification of the space production by the babies, which happens through agency and openings in the programmed everyday life. Furthermore, it was possible to recognize how they, in their own way, participate in the struggle for housing and beyond.
