Abstract in English
The central theme of this work is the Education. Through transdisciplinarity, we reflect on the conception of an intercultural education, bringing the Ethnomathematics Program ideas of Ubiratan DAmbrosio in dialogue with the work of Paulo Freire. In a Portuguese to Haitians teaching context, we seek to answer the following question: what are the borders that cross the trajectory of Haitian immigrants in São Paulo? For this, we figure a methodology, called in boundaries, which combines processes of alterity, listening and dialogue. The first stage of the study took place in a Centro Integrado de Educação de Jovens e Adultos (CIEJA) in the city of São Paulo, through participant observation. In the second stage, we conducted interviews with the director, three teachers and two Haitian students from the same CIEJA. At the end of these two stages, we were able to know the relationships that are established between the subjects of that school community, besides identifying three themes that we consider as borders that cross the Haitian immigrants trajectories: racism, professional training and the labor market and language.
