Trabalho de pesquisa teórico que parte do conceito de Natalidade de Hannah Arendt em seu ensaio A crise na educação. Neste artigo Hannah Arendt propõe a separação entre educação e política a fim de garantir e preservar a criança dos assuntos que dizem respeito aos adultos. Partindo de uma crise específica, a da educação nos Estados Unidos da América, por volta da metade do século XX, Hannah Arendt desenvolve uma instigante análise da crise na educação e a situa na crise geral das sociedades ocidentais e da era moderna, principalmente na crise de autoridade no mundo moderno e à influência da psicologia em assuntos pedagógicos e nas chamadas pedagogias progressistas. Procuramos compreender os conceitos que Arendt opera em seu pensamento político, a importância que a autora dá ao pensar para compreender e a relação que ela estabelece entre natalidade, política e educação. Concluímos que o processo educativo é um processo aberto do qual se pode ter esperança à medida que não se procura controlar ou determinar o futuro das novas gerações, preservando-lhes a capacidade de iniciarem, ato que garantiria a continuidade do mundo.

Theoretical research work that starts from the concept of Natality of Hannah Arendt in his essay The crisis in education. In this article Hannah Arendt proposes the separation between education and politics in order to guarantee and preserve the child of the subjects that concern the adults. Starting from a specific crisis, that of education in the United States of America, around the middle of the twentieth century, Hannah Arendt develops an instigating analysis of the crisis in education and situates it in the general crisis of Western societies and the modern era, especially in the crisis of authority in the modern world and the influence of psychology on pedagogical subjects and on the so- called progressive pedagogies. We try to understand Arendt's concepts in his political thought, the importance that the author gives in thinking to understand and the relation that she establishes between birth, politics and education. We conclude that the educational process is an open process from which one can hope as one does not seek to control or determine the future of the new generations, preserving their ability to initiate, an act that would guarantee the continuity of the world.
