Abstract in English
This paper has as its main focus the conflicts between children during their Physical Education classes, in which collective games were developed in a class of the second step of the first cycle of the Elementary School, in the context of a Council School of the city of Juiz de Fora, MG. It was tried to reflect the way in which the collective games, involving children around 10-11 years old, evoke conflicts between their players, trying to understand, especially, what are the meanings imputed by the children to their conflicts. In the theoretical approach the conflict was studied in its way of human development, delimitated from the differentiation of violence and aggressiveness and it was still attempted to realize the uniqueness of the conflicts on the grounds of the game awareness. With the theoretical support of Bateson (1985, 1987, 1996) it is discussed the communication in the game, which has its noises, its frames. The contributions of Bateson and Ruesch (1984) are in the understanding of communication as a dynamic system which works in reciprocity, in opposition to the understanding of a stationary system, seen by the mean of linear logics and still in considering the paradox nature of certain types of communication, such as those from the game. Concluding the theoretical view, it is talked about the game in the field of the knowledge of physical education, in attempt to clarify the theme conflict in the productions of this field, trying to explain how the authors handle the theme, how they use the concept of game and the usage given to it. It is shown the methodological path, with emphasis on the qualitative research and the possibility of making methodologies, considering them complete individuals inside themselves, aware of their condition and situation and who express themselves in multiples ways. More systematically, this voice was heard by the mean of the analysis of video recordings done with all the students from that class. In the analysis of the data generated in the context of the Physical Education classes it is shown a dialogue between the childrens testimonies about their conflicts described in the analyses of the videos and written data and the theoretical approach of the research. Finally, in the conclusions, it is returned to this complex universe where this research is in which is shown some possibilities of interpretation about what happened in this place of conflicting relationships.
