Abstract in English
The present study is located at the interface between the fields of Environmental Education and Active Methodologies. Our starting point is the conception that Environmental Education is an essential element for global education, oriented towards solving problems in favor of the well-being of the human community. This requires educational work that can count on the contribution coming from Active Methodologies, understood as paths where the student abandons the memorization of contents in the direction of the search for knowledge, in a learning that promotes intellectual curiosity, collective knowledge, collaborative work, and questioning the problems of everyday life at the global and local level. The present research, therefore, assumes the search for the convergence of these two educational actions that can favor the awareness of the global reality, from the knowledge of the type of relationships that human beings establish with each other, and with nature, as well as the environmental problems and the search for ways to solve them. In general, the results provide us with important evidence that, more and more, Active Methodologies have been used for the study of Environmental Education, and have proven to be relevant for the awareness of socio-environmental problems that are often very close of students: in the neighborhood of the school or in their homes.
