O objetivo desta tese é compreender e analisar como mulheres negras brasileiras constituem trajetórias de formação e trabalho nas áreas do direito, da engenharia e da medicina, notadamente acessando especializações e circuitos do mercado de trabalho elitizados, bem como compreender como elas, neste processo, produzem agenciamentos para modificar suas chances ou a estrutura em que atuam. Para a realização deste trabalho apresento uma abordagem teórico-metodológica centrada nos estudos do feminismo negro. A pesquisa de campo foi desenvolvida por meio da realização de entrevistas narrativas com onze mulheres negras e produção de dados estatísticos sobre a presença deste grupo social nos mercados de trabalho das áreas de engenharia, direito e medicina. Nos achados foi evidenciado que mulheres negras em profissões elitizadas causam fissuras nas relações institucionais informadas pela estrutura racial. Nesse sentido, fissuras são os impactos que mulheres negras em carreiras elitizadas causam nas relações cotidianas de trabalho, provocados tanto por sua presença quanto pelo conhecimento que elas produzem e usam para alterar suas chances no interior dessas profissões, abrir espaços para pessoas negras e construir relações sociais mais justas. Portanto, foi apresentado o conceito de fissura como contribuição deste trabalho para a compreensão dos conhecimentos e práticas produzidos por mulheres negras em áreas do trabalho elitizado.

The objective of this thesis is to understand and analyze how black Brazilian women constitute trajectories of training and work in the areas of law, engineering and medicine, notably accessing specializations and elitized labor market circuits, as well as to understand how they, in this process, produce agency to modify their chances or the structure in which they act. To carry out this work I present a theoretical and methodological approach centered on black feminist studies. The field research was developed by means of narrative interviews with eleven black women and the production of statistical data about the presence of this social group in the labor markets in the areas of engineering, law, and medicine. The findings show that black women in elite professions cause fissures in the institutional relations informed by the racial structure. In this sense, fissures are the impacts that black women in elitized careers cause in everyday work relations, caused both by their presence and by the knowledge they produce and use to alter their chances within these professions, open spaces for black people, and build fairer social relations. Therefore, the concept of fissure was presented as a contribution of this work to the understanding of the knowledge and practices produced by black women in areas of elitized work.
