Este trabalho investigou a relação entre o Estado e as escolas ameríndias do Território Indígena Rio Silveiras, em Bertioga - SP. Através de pesquisa etnográfica e qualitativa, o objetivo principal era entender como a legislação educacional concernente às escolas ameríndias se dava em uma escola guarani, suas formas de apoio, controle, tensão e relacionamento. Entre as principais conclusões obtidas neste trabalho, ressaltasse a disparidade entre o que é proposto pelo arcabouço jurídico e aquilo que efetivamente é oferecido e controlado pelo Estado, bem como as diversas visões ameríndias sobre a escola, seus objetivos e sua função na luta pela terra.

This work investigated the relation between the State and the indigenous schools from the Rio Silveiras Indigenous Territory, in São Paulo - Bertioga. Through na ethnographic and qualitative research, the main objective was to understand how the educational legislation conceming to the indigenous schools occurs on a guarani school, it's ways of support, control, tension and relations. Among the major conclusions of this work, stands out the disparity between what is proposed by the legislation and what is effectively offer and controlled by the State, as well the different indigenous visions about the school, its objectives and their function on the fight for land.
