Abstract in English
Project construction is an emerging goal in the practice of career counseling. It is present in the practice with adolescents and adults for whom decision making in the form of a choice is not enough to meet the demands presented by the person in face of their future. As all approaches in career counseling have a theory of choice, there is a need to clarify which is the theory of project on which the counselor will base his practice. The goal of this research is to lay the foundations for a theory of project for the clinical strategy approach in career counseling. For that, we start from the definitions about the nature of this area, conceptualized as an applied-science whose object is the person's relationship with the world of work and/or education launched into the future. In view of this object, we deduce that one of the goals that is constituted is the construction of a project, which occurs in the present, but is always related to the future. Starting from the theoretical bases of clinical strategy, which are psychoanalysis and critical social psychology, and in dialogue with the knowledge produced in the field of career counseling, we organized the thesis in four parts, each one dedicated to the exploration and definition of a central concept that will be part of the final proposal of the conceptualization the project. Part 1 is about the future, defined as that which never ceases to not happen; Part 2 is about the project, understood as an imaginary-symbolic construction about the future; Part 3 discusses the narrative, which consists of a construction of language about the future that provides a structure in which past, present and future are articulated together with the elements that make up the experience of the person's relationship with the world; and Part 4 presents the concept of fantasy, understood as the subject's singular syntax that is established by the way s/he seeks to rediscover the object that caused his/her desire in the relationships he makes with the other in his daily life. As a conclusion, we articulate these definitions to the definitions of person and world of work and education, to finally be able to propose a definition of what is the project for the clinical strategy approach in career counseling, namely: a narrative that is structured on a fantasy about the relationship between the person and the world of work and/or education launched into the future. At last, we list a series of future research that can be carried out to advance the theoretical construction for which this thesis sought to lay the foundations
