Keywords in Portuguese

Feminismo negro
Interseccionalidade
Psicanálise

Abstract in English
This research is part of the debate between gender and ethnic-racial relations, and aims to carry out a critical review of the notion of femininity, considering the dimensions of motherhood, sexuality and family in Freudian psychoanalysis, based on theories from the field of black feminism. The aim is to investigate the impacts of the racial perspective on the understanding of the concept of femininity; and if it focuses on particular experiences of white women, as well as on moral, ethical, historical and racial references of whiteness. It is intended to understand how this notion was constructed and what contributions black feminism would bring to the way in which Freudian psychoanalysis deals with this theme, thinking about the possible impacts on clinical practice and theory.
