Abstract in English
Throughout history, human sexual behavior has been and continues to be the target of interest and investigation; however, what is investigated is the sexual behavior of the adult person. When thinking about the construction of childhood, this stage of development was understood as absent from sexual behavior. What the literature points out is the opposite, children have sexuality from birth, a behavior inherent to the human condition. In view of this, this research investigates normative infantile sexual behaviors in preschool children and analyzes them quantitatively and descriptively so that the knowledge arising from this can be useful in preventing child sexual abuse and other sexual behavior problems. Investigating normative child sexual behaviors enables the development of information, prevention and intervention programs. The studied literature indicates that children's sexual behaviors emitted and their frequency are correlated with family variables, and can be measured using the Child Sexual Behavior Inventory (CSBI), an instrument that was used to collect data, added to a socioeconomic and family habits questionnaire. The analysis of the results obtained through the CSBI took place according to the specific guidelines of the instrument. Quantitative data were compared and also submitted to descriptive and inferential analysis. Thus, through the data collected and analyzed, an attempt was made to understand what normative child sexual behavior is
