Diante da prevalência da exposição de crianças à violência intrafamiliar em nosso País, é fundamental a realização de estudos que visem avaliar o impacto e o funcionamento psíquico da criança testemunha da violência intrafamiliar. O objetivo deste estudo foi compreender as implicações biopsicossociais da violência testemunhal intrafamiliar. É um estudo clínico-qualitativo com base em estudo de caso múltiplo com dois participantes de 9 e 10 anos de idade, ambos os sexos, em situação de acolhimento com histórico de testemunho de violência intrafamiliar, na cidade de São Paulo. O estudo foi realizado com o uso do Teste do Desenho da Casa Árvore Pessoa (HTP). Os dados encontrados apontaram que a situação de violência que presenciaram e o fato de estarem institucionalizados afetou diretamente suas vidas, e associados aos resultados de outros estudos sobre o tema, foram encontradas muitas semelhanças indicando que o trauma da exposição sofrida na infância pode influenciar negativamente as interações interpessoais, acarretar dificuldade de comunicação, insegurança quanto à autoimagem, impotência, agressividade, dificuldade no controle dos impulsos, sentimento de incerteza, temor, inferioridade, dependência emocional, negativismo, rigidez e ansiedade no contato com o ambiente, tensão e agressividade no contato com o outro. Além disso, provoca sentimento de solidão e imaturidade. O teste HTP mostrou-se sensível para identificar os aspectos psicodinâmicos das crianças que vivenciaram a experiência do testemunho da violência intrafamiliar, apresentando resultados significativos. Esse instrumento mostrou-se atraente e estimulante aos participantes desta pesquisa, facilitando a participação e a colaboração das crianças no estudo. Ademais, os resultados apresentados em cada caso possibilitaram a otimização de intervenções em saúde pública que favoreçam o cuidado e o acompanhamento de crianças testemunhas de violência, e, assim, ter um desenvolvimento adequado em todos os aspectos da vida

Due to the high prevalence of children's exposure to intrafamily violence in our country, it is essential to conduct studies aimed at evaluating the impact and psychic functioning of children who witness intrafamily violence. The aim of this study is to investigate the psychic functioning, characteristics and psychological consequences of children who suffered exposure to intrafamily violence. It is a clinical-qualitative study based on a case study with two participants aged 9 and 10 years, both sexes, in a welcoming situation with a history of witnessing intrafamily violence, in the city of São Paulo. The study was conducted using the Person Tree House Design Test (HTP). The data found pointed out that the situation of violence they witnessed and the fact that they were institutionalized directly affected their lives, and associated with the results of other studies on the subject, many similarities were found indicating that the trauma of exposure suffered in childhood can negatively influence children. interpersonal interactions, causing difficulty in communication, insecurity about self-image, impotence, aggressiveness, difficulty in controlling impulses, feeling of uncertainty, fear, inferiority, emotional dependence, negativism, rigidity and anxiety in contact with the environment, tension and aggression in contact with the other. In addition, it causes feelings of loneliness and immaturity. The HTP test was shown to be sensitive to identify the psychodynamic aspects of children who experienced the experience of witnessing intrafamily violence, showing significant results. This instrument proved to be attractive and stimulating to the participants of this research, facilitating the participation and collaboration of children in the study. Furthermore, the results presented in each case make it possible to optimize public health interventions that favor the care and monitoring of children who are witnesses of violence, and thus have an adequate development in all aspects of life
