Parricídio em psicanálise: estudo de caso
Keywords in Portuguese
Complexo de Édipo
Crônicas
Freud
Parricídio
Psicanálise

Abstract in English
The universality of the Oedipus Complex is insufficient as the only justification for the parricide act, instigating the enigma of this dissertation: why? The main goal of this study is investigating and discussing the intrapsychic phenomena and the intersubjective implications of parricide, its motivations and the impossibility of symbolic elaboration in the destitution of paternal authority in the clinical case. Its specific purposes are: (1) identify if and how feelings of guilt interfere with the repetition of violent acts; e (2) analyze the need to elaborate the Oedipus Complex. To respond to these objectives, the psychoanalytic research method was used, with the construction of the case study through the chronicle, which is a device that we developed from clinical testimony. Data analysis will be based on the psychoanalytic framework, using mainly the theories built by Freud. Freud (1928) points out among the primordial literary works: "Oedipus the King, by Sophocles and The Brothers Karamazov, by Dostoevsky" that have parricide in their plot. These works explore the unconscious conflicts that motivated these protagonists to commit primeval crime. Thus, they contribute to the reflection on the repetition of parricide in the case studied, whose clinical material was extracted from individual psychotherapy sessions. It was concluded that the passage to the parricide act represents a leap into the void, contributing to the feeling of psychic death and, consequently, to the loss of borders between external and internal realities
