Este trabalho investiga as invisibilizações que envolvem a figura da babá na relação com as famílias que contratam seus serviços, nas quais a importância de sua função e de seu vínculo com os bebês não é reconhecido. A observação de cenas em instituição destinada a bebês e seus acompanhantes foi o método utilizado para analisar, nas relações entre famílias, bebês e babás, a hipótese do lugar invisibilizado da babá e suas possíveis formas. A análise das cenas foi feita a partir de leitura psicanalítica, considerando os atravessamentos de questões sociais, como a articulação das categorias de opressão que agem sobre a figura da babá da ordem de gênero, raça e classe. Cada cena abre a discussão para diferentes aspectos dessas relações e a invisibilização nelas envolvida. Aspectos esses como a fusão entre afeto e trabalho, o lugar dos cuidados maternos no imaginário social, a participação da babá na constituição subjetiva do bebê, as aproximações da função materna e a atuação da babá, o valor do significante mãe e a terceirização da maternidade. Junto a essas discussões localiza-se a babá no contexto sócio-histórico brasileiro atual, reconhecendo, por meio de um resgate histórico, a atualização da cultura colonial que mantém viva uma relação fundada no passado escravista do país. Articulando a análise das cenas com o debate sócio-histórico foi feito um mapeamento das inúmeras facetas que operam a invisibilização da babá e de seus vínculos, articulando os aspectos político-sociais e os psíquicos envolvidos, aprofundando o olhar sobre a posição de quase da família em que a babá é habitualmente colocada.

This study investigates the processes of invisibilization that surround the figure of the nanny in their relationship with the families who hire their services, in which the importance of their role and their bond with the babies is not acknowledged. The observation of scenes within an institution destined for babies and their caregivers was the method employed to analyze the hypothesis of the invisibility of nannies across various aspects in their relationship with the families. The analysis of these scenes was conducted through a psychoanalytical perspective, considering the intersections of social issues, such as the articulation of categories of oppression that affect the nanny figure in terms of gender, race and class. Each scene initiates a discussion on different aspects of the relationship between family, baby, and nanny, unveiling the invisibility encompassed within it. These aspects include the merging of affection and labor, the role of maternal care in the social imaginary, the nanny's participation in the babys subjective constitution, the parallels between maternal function and the nanny's role, the value of the signifier mother, and the delegation of motherhood role. Also, the nanny is situated within the current Brazilian socio-historical context, recognizing, through a historical review, the perpetuation of the colonial culture that keeps alive relationships rooted in the country's history of slavery. The analysis of these scenes generates a mapping of the numerous facets that contribute to the inivisibilization of the nanny and their bonds. This mapping articulates the socio-political and psychological dimensions involved, deepening the understanding of the position of being "almost a part of the family" in which the nanny is typically put.
