A presente pesquisa teve como objetivo situar uma possível via de trabalho para o psicanalista em Saúde Mental, tomando como sustento teórico-clínico a noção proposta por Lacan em 1959 de Ética da Psicanálise, que tem como operadores a tática, estratégia e a política da Psicanálise. Propomos um retorno a Freud, a fim de colocar em questão a recomendação, posta em papel em pelos menos três ocasiões (1910; 1919; 1938), acerca da expansão do alcance da Psicanálise às camadas populacionais que não chegam aos consultórios. Sustentamos, com Freud e Lacan, a questão acerca da viabilidade e da forma como teoria e prática puderam se desenvolver para além do setting tradicional. Posto isso, avançamos em direção à Saúde Mental e seu paradigma contemporâneo - a Reforma Psiquiátrica -, a fim de pôr em relevo aspectos convergentes e divergentes, tanto dentro do próprio discurso da Psicanálise, como no discurso inaugurado pelo movimento reformista. Sustentamos a hipótese de que, a partir de uma clínica orientada não por ideais morais, mas sim pela potência da capacidade de invenção de um percurso singular em relação ao sofrimento do sujeito, é possível legitimar o saber-fazer daquele que outrora fora trancado atrás de grades e que, atualmente, é sedado pela via farmacológica e por um discurso de guerra à clínica. No intuito de discutir os destinos possíveis para o tratamento no contexto de uma instituição de Saúde Mental, foi utilizado um fragmento de caso clínico e o questionamento quanto ao lugar da moral contida na resistência dos membros da equipe à forma como o paciente engendra sua posição subjetiva, em oposição à ética da Psicanálise. Nesta medida, o caso clínico foi utilizado como paradigma para situar o trabalho do analista em Saúde Mental, posto em tensão ao uso clínico de preceitos e conceitos psicanalíticos, para pensar possíveis respostas às críticas feitas por autores como Basaglia e, por fim, àqueles que hoje lutam pelo retorno da lógica manicomial como ponto de partida para se pensar o tratamento em Saúde Mental. O ponto fundamental da presente pesquisa diz respeito à possibilidade de produção de um debate interno à Psicanálise sobre os destinos possíveis da clínica em instituições de Saúde Mental. O desenvolvimento de um debate desta qualidade pode colocar em questão sem o intuito de generalizar - as bases que orientam a clínica em instituições que têm em sua equipe de trabalho ao menos um psicanalista praticante, podendo, desta forma, tensionar teoria e prática

The present research aimed to locate (this) possible way of working for the psychoanalyst, taking as theoretical-clinical support the notion proposed by Lacan as the Psychoanalysis Ethics, which has as operators the Psychoanalysis` tactics, strategy and politics. We propose a return to Freud, in order to problematize the recommendation, written in three different occasions (1910; 1919; 1938), about the expansion of the psychoanalysis' reach the population layers that do not reach the offices. We sustain, with Freud and Lacan, the question of viability and how psychoanalysis can develop beyond the traditional setting. Then we move towards the Mental Health and its contemporary paradigm - the Psychiatric Reform -, in order to highlight convergent and divergent aspects within the discourse of psychoanalysis itself, as well as in the discourse inaugurated by the reform movement. Our hypothesis is that based on a clinic oriented not by moral ideals, but by the power of the invention of a singular course in relation to the subject's suffering, it is possible to legitimize his know- how, which was once locked behind of grids and wich, currently, is sedated by the pharmacological and by a speech of war to the clinic. In order to discuss the possible destinations for treatment in the context of a mental health institution, a fragment of a clinical case was used well as the questioning about the place of the moral contained in the team members` resistance to the way the patient engenders his subjective position, as opposed to the psychoanalysis` ethics. In this sense, the clinical case was used as a paradigm to locate the analyst's work in the Mental Health, while put in tension to the clinical use of psychoanalysis` precepts and concepts, and to think possible answers to criticisms made by authors like Basaglia, and finally, by those who nowadays struggle for the return of the asylum logic as a starting point for thinking about Mental Health treatment. The fundamental point of the present research concerns the possibility of producing an internal debate in psychoanalysis about the possible destinations of the clinic in mental health institutions. The development of a debate of this quality can problematize - without the intention of generalizing - the bases that orient the clinic in institutions that have in their work team at least one practicing psychoanalyst, which makes it possible to combine theory and practice
