Esta tese se caracteriza por ser um estudo exploratório fundamentado na teoria psicogenética de Jean Piaget e nas pesquisas que se debruçaram sobre os estudos da moralidade. O objetivo central foi analisar, sob a ótica da psicologia moral, os conteúdos curriculares dos cursos da Escola Nacional de Socioeducação, buscando estabelecer uma relação com a percepção dos exalunos a respeito das contribuições desses cursos. Além disso, esse trabalho teve a intenção de destacar as motivações que levaram os profissionais a buscarem os cursos da ENS, quererem atuar na área da socioeducação, como também identificar os atributos destacados pelos profissionais em suas representações de si. Para tanto, foi realizada a pesquisa documental e exploratória, esta última utilizando dois instrumentos metodológicos: entrevista clínica e memorial. Os dados foram analisados de forma qualitativa e categorizados de acordo com os procedimentos metodológicos da análise de conteúdo de Laurence Bardin. Os resultados demonstraram que os cursos da ENS trouxeram contribuições significativas aos alunos, todavia, estas foram mais quanto ao nível de informação do que em termos de uma mudança de postura frente ao trabalho socioeducativo. Além disso, os resultados permitiram observar que os cursos analisados não apresentam conceitos e discussões como fruto dos estudos da psicologia moral. Acreditamos que tais estudos podem contribuir para a socioeducação, principalmente no que diz respeito ao processo de tomada de consciência sobre a prática socioeducativa, auxiliando os profissionais dessa área a olharem e refletirem sobre seus valores morais, representações e práticas pedagógicas

This thesis is characterized as an exploratory study based in the Jean Piagets psychogenetic theory along with the researches that have dwelled on studies of morality. The main goal was analyze, from the perspective of moral psychology, the curricular contents of the courses of national school of socio-education (ENS), seeking for set a relation with the perception of former students about the contributions obtained from these courses. Furthermore, this work had the intention of emphasise the motivations que conducted these professional to pursue these ENS courses and what made them want to work in the socio-educational area, as well as identify the main features highlighted by these professionals in their representation of themselves. For this task was realized a documental and exploratory research, the latter making use of two methodological tools: clinical interview and memorial. The data was analyzed in a qualitative way and categorized by the methodological process of content analysis from Laurence Bardin. The findings evidenced that the ENS courses brought substantial improvements to the students, however, these contributions was more in the information level than in terms of a change of stance in the direction socio-educational work. Additionally, the results allowed to observe that the analyzed courses doesnt provide concepts and discussions as a consequence of the studies of moral psychology. We believe that these studies may contribute to the socioeducation, mainly with regard to the awareness process about the socioeducational practices, assisting professionals in this area to examine and reflect on their moral values, representations and pedagogical practices
