A pesquisa que ora se apresenta teve como objetivo analisar a compreensão de Brinquedoteca Hospitalar dos profissionais de enfermagem que trabalham no setor de internação infantil, além de identificar as possíveis mudanças, após a implantação de um programa de intervenção com a temática Brinquedoteca Hospitalar. Os participantes foram profissionais que integram uma equipe de enfermagem do setor de internação infantil de um Hospital Universitário, localizado no Estado de São Paulo. Ao todo foram 15 participantes distribuídos em dois grupos, Grupo 1 e Grupo 2, para a exposição a um programa de intervenção com temas independentes. Na primeira fase da pesquisa houve a apresentação do estudo, assim como a aplicação do questionário para ambos os grupos. Na segunda fase, houve a exposição dos participantes do Grupo 1 a um programa de intervenção sobre a temática Brinquedoteca Hospitalar, sendo apresentados dois módulos. Cada encontro ocorreu uma vez por semana de maneira consecutiva e foi apresentada a temática do módulo. Já o Grupo 2 foi exposto a um programa de intervenção sobre a temática Motivação no trabalho, que ocorreu em dois encontros consecutivos, uma vez por semana. Após a exposição dos grupos ao programa de intervenção com temáticas independentes, foi reaplicado o questionário e uma entrevista semiestruturada em alguns participantes, após a intervenção. O resultado do presente estudo mostrou pouca familiaridade dos profissionais com o tema Brinquedoteca Hospitalar, evidenciando que, mesmo naquelas instituições que aderiram à lei 11 104 de 2005, a equipe não se encontra preparada para usufruir do espaço dentro da Pediatria, o que vem a corroborar com a hipótese inicial deste estudo, de que as Brinquedotecas Hospitalares são pouco utilizadas pelos profissionais de saúde. No entanto, após a intervenção com o tema Brinquedoteca Hospitalar, o estudo descritivo mostra mudanças, na compreensão sobre a temática abordada, mesmo que o teste estatístico não tenha evidenciado tais diferenças. As análises comparativas realizadas intragrupos (antes e após a intervenção nos dois grupos) e entregrupos (Grupo 1 e Grupo 2 após a intervenção), confirmam que os participantes do Grupo 1 apresentam uma compreensão de alta complexidade com relação à temática Brinquedoteca Hospitalar. O estudo aponta a necessidade de mais incentivo dos órgãos públicos e responsáveis pelas instituições hospitalares para a implantação e adequação das Brinquedotecas nos setores de internação infantil

The objective of this research was to analyze the understanding of the play library hospital by the nursing professionals that work in the childrens hospitalization sector, as well as to identify the possible changes, after the implementation of the hospitals kids zone intervention program. The participants were professionals of a nursing team that works in the child hospitalization sector of a university hospital, located in the state of São Paulo. There were 15 participants divided into two groups: Group 1 and Group 2. Those groups were exposed to an intervention program with independent themes. In the first phase of the research there was the presentation of the study, as well as the application of a questionnaire to both groups. In the second phase there was the exposition of Group 1 to a program of intervention about the theme concerning the play library hospital, and two modules were presented. Each meeting occurred once a week when it was presented the theme of the module. Group 2 was exposed to an intervention program on the theme Motivation at work, which occurred in two consecutive meetings once a week. After the exposure of the groups to the program of intervention with different themes, the questionnaire was reapplied and also a semi-structured interview was performed for some participants after the intervention. The result of this study showed the little familiarity of the professionals with the theme play library hospital evidencing that even in those institutions that adhered to law 11 104 of 2005, the team is not prepared to take advantage of the space within the Pediatrics, what is corroborating the initial hypothesis of this study, that the hospital´s kids zone is a poorly used area by the health professionals. However, after the intervention with is theme, the descriptive study shows subtle changes in the comprehension about the theme addressed, even though the statistical test did not show such changes. The comparative analyses performed intra groups (before and after the intervention in both groups), and inter groups (Group 1 and Group 2 after the intervention) confirm understanding of the participants in group 1 high complexity in relation to the theme presented in the intervention.
