Abstract in English
This paper aims to analyze and explain the conception of unthinkable agonies in the Winnicottian theory of primitive emotional development, differentiating this phenomenon from what Freud called "castration anxiety" and that which Klein characterized as "annihilation anxiety". To this end, it delves into Winnicott's work in order to demonstrate how the description and understanding of this kind of anxiety arises, why it is thought to be present in the process of emotional development of human beings, and finally what would be its empirical referents and associated defense mechanisms. This theoretical research intends to investigate the topic through a structural and conceptual analysis of its meanings
