Abstract in English
The purpose of this research was to study pupils altitudes toward their teachers based on the Draw-a-Teacher technique (DAT) according to scoring method proposed by Klepsch (1979) and determine the possible differences concerning sex, school achievement, grade and schools on tests results. The sample was composed by 293 pupils both male and female from 1st to 4th grade in three schools of São Paulo city. School achievement was assessed by teachers in three groups: good, middle and unsatisfactory. Human Figures' and Teacher's drawings was scored by the method proposed by Klepsch (1979). This scoring method did not differenciate subjects in relation to sex, school achievement, grade and schools, but some items showed significant differences by school and grade. A modification in the scoring method for the same items focused by Klepsch made the results significant in relation to school and grade. An analysis of the overall impression expressing by the drawings concerning the type of attitude represented in the Draw-a-Teacher showed differences in relation to school achievement
