A Educação Financeira é uma área de pesquisa ainda não consolidada, muito aquém de outras, como a Educação Matemática, por exemplo. Quando abordada na escola, ao pouco que se sabe, ela não necessariamente inclui uma perspectiva educacional mais ampla, envolvendo os aspectos estruturais do consumismo e da analogia ecológica, nem tampouco aspectos comportamentais, emocionais ou críticos, inerentes à nossa capacidade de decidir quando o assunto é dinheiro. Carece também de uma atenção frente ao endividamento das famílias. Esta pesquisa é fruto, em conjunto, de uma investigação sobre as produções acadêmicas, sob diferentes visões e resultados em Educação Financeira, e das atividades de intervenções pedagógicas em dois grupos de estudo. As abordagens e narrativas presentes na Educação Financeira para o ensino podem apresentar os interesses mais antagônicos possíveis. Mesclando a revisão bibliográfica de caráter qualitativo exploratório com as atividades de intervenções práticas aplicadas, ampliamos a abordagem da Educação Financeira, sob diferentes ângulos. Visamos contribuir com suas caracterizações no ensino básico.

Financial Education is an area of research that has not yet been consolidated, far behind others, such as Mathematics Education, for example. When approached at school, as little is known, it does not necessarily include a broader educational perspective, involving the structural aspects of consumerism and the ecological analogy, nor behavioral, emotional or critical aspects, inherent to our ability to decide when the subject and money. It also lacks attention in the face of household indebtedness. This research is the result, together, of an investigation into academic productions, under different views and results in Financial Education, and of pedagogical intervention activities in two study groups. The approaches and narratives present in Financial Education for teaching can present the most antagonistic interests possible. Merging the bibliographic review of an exploratory qualitative nature with the activities of applied practical interventions, we expanded the Financial Education approach, from different angles. We aim to contribute with their characterizations in basic education.
