Proporcionalidade

Abstract in English
Through the need for change and adaptation to the new realities brought by technologies in schools and their increasingly intense use by students and society as a whole, an update in methods and forms of teaching and learning mathematics is necessary. The Maker Culture has been revolutionizing production methods and moving people to get their hands on in their homes and through makerspaces. By interviews and bibliographic research, we were able to create a proposal for a maker activity that helps teach proportionality. For this challenge, the Maker Culture contributed greatly, through its principles and with the aid of technology in modeling and digital fabrication, via laser cutting machines. We carried out the construction and application of this experience at the Centro de Inovação da Educação Básica Paulista (CIEBP), in the training of teachers from the Rede Estadual de Ensino de São Paulo.
