Este trabalho pretende apresentar uma proposta didática sobre Educação Financeira, mais especificamente inflação. Muito se fala, nos meios de comunicação, sobre inflação e como ela tem impactado o poder de compra dos indivíduos, mas quando os alunos são questionados sobre o que é inflação, como é calculada e qual é a sua relação com o índice de preços, inclusive qual é o índice oficial, ouve-se respostas confusas e incorretas. Baseado nas ideias de Ole Skovsmose e Ausubel, com os ambientes de aprendizagem e Aprendizagem Significativa, objetiva-se construir um cenário para investigação para que os integrantes desta pesquisa construam um índice inflacionário baseado em uma cesta de produtos e serviços elaborada por eles. Pretende-se assim, estabelecer relações entre o conteúdo abordado e o contexto social e financeiro desses estudantes com o intuito de construir uma atividade significativa a esses estudantes.

This paper aims to present a didactic proposal on Financial Education, more specifically inflation. Much is said in the media about inflation and how it has impacted the purchasing power of individuals, but when students are asked what inflation is, how it is calculated and what is its relationship with the price index, including what the official index is, one hears confusing and incorrect answers.Based on the ideas of Ole Skovsmose and Ausubel, with the learning environments and Meaningful Learning, the objective is to build a scenario for investigation so that the members of this research build an inflationary index based on a basket of goods and services elaborated by them. It is intended to establish relationships between the content addressed and the social and financial context of these students in order to build a meaningful activity for these students.
