A presente dissertação apresenta uma proposta pedagógica elaborada e realizada com alunos do sexto ano do Ensino Fundamental da rede municipal de Santos (SP) com o objetivo de tematizar a Educação Financeira sob uma perspectiva crítica através da Resolução de Problemas, concebendo-a nas dimensões de ensino-aprendizagem-avaliação. Para isso, a Resolução de Problemas como metodologia é explicada na Fundamentação Teórica desta dissertação; capítulo este em que também há a apresentação de uma proposta curricular para se trabalhar o tema da Educação Financeira sob a perspectiva crítica enunciada. O tema pode, inclusive, ser identificado no texto da Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC) e da Estratégia Nacional de Educação Financeira (ENEF). Metodologicamente, este trabalho se inspira em elementos da Pesquisa-ação. No desenvolvimento, há o relato da experiência realizada com alunos do sexto ano do Ensino Fundamental em uma escola municipal da cidade de Santos-SP ao longo do segundo semestre de 2023. Durante a experiência, promoveu-se a resolução de três problemas: o primeiro, relativo à prática de escambo; o segundo tratando do orçamento familiar/doméstico; e o terceiro, do orçamento público do município.

This dissertation presents a pedagogical proposal elaborated and carried out with students in the sixth year of Elementary Public School in the city of Santos (SP) with the objective of discussing Financial Education from a critical perspective through Problem Solving, conceiving it in the dimensions of teaching-learning-evaluation. To this end, Problem Solving as a methodology is explained in the Theoretical Foundation of this dissertation; This chapter also presents a curricular proposal to work on the topic of Financial Education from the critical perspective outlined. The theme can even be identified in the text of the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) and the National Financial Education Strategy (ENEF). Methodologically, this work is inspired by elements of Action Research. In the development, there is a report on the experience carried out with students in the sixth year of Elementary School in a municipal school in the city of Santos-SP throughout the second semester of 2023. During the experience, the resolution of three problems was promoted: the first, relating to the practice of barter; the second dealing with the family/domestic budget; and the third, from the municipalitys public budget.
