Esse trabalho propõe uma sequência didática voltada para estudantes do Ensino Fundamental anos finais, em forma de oficinas. O objetivo dessas oficinas é construir, em seu público-alvo, conhecimentos a respeito das operações com números racionais usando como suporte e objeto motivador, conceitos de leitura de partituras e escala musical pitagórica, estes que são objetos de estudo da teoria musical. Considera-se importante que estudantes sejam introduzidos à teoria musical em algum momento de sua vida escolar, o que pode-se verificar presente nas discussões aqui trazidas. Os dois primeiros capítulos desse texto apresentam as justificativas por trás da escolha do tema, os objetivos das oficinas da perspectiva curricular/pedagógica e a metodologia sugerida para professores que optarem por realizar as atividades aqui presentes. A proposta foi levada a uma turma de 6° ano do Ensino Fundamental da rede pública do Estado de São Paulo, localizada na zona norte da cidade de São Paulo, na primeira metade do ano de 2022. O trabalho relata as experiências vividas durante as aplicações, as dificuldades encontradas e visões a respeito das aprendizagens por parte dos estudantes. O ano de 2022 foi marcado pelo retorno definitivo do modelo presencial de educação após a pandemia de COVID-19, que submeteu o sistema educacional brasileiro ao modelo de ensino remoto. No momento em que as oficinas foram aplicadas, ainda era obrigatório o uso de máscaras em ambientes fechados, como salas de aula. Apesar do contexto pós-pandêmico e dos diversos obstáculos presentes nos momentos de aplicação das oficinas, a motivação, engajamento nas atividades e registros falados e escritos pelos participantes sugerem que as atividades propostas pelas oficinas podem contribuir para proporcionar ambientes de aprendizagem significativa.

This paper proposes a didact sequence for final years students of the elementary school, in workshop format. The objective of these workshops is building knowledge, in its target audience, about operations with rational fractions using as support and motivation the sheet music reading and Pythagorean scale, those which are study objects of musical theory. It is considered important that students are presented to music thoery at some point moment of their schoolar life, as can be seen in the discussions presented here. The first two chapters of this text present the justifications behind the choice of the theme, the objectives of the workshops from a curriculum/pedagogical perspective, and the suggested methodology for teachers who choose to use the activities presented here. The proposal was implemented with a 6th-grade class in the public school system of the State of São Paulo, located in the northern zone of the city of São Paulo, in the first half of the year 2022. The paper reports the experiences during the implementations, the difficulties encountered, and the students perspectives on their learning. The year 2022 was marked by the definitive return to in-person education after the COVID-19 pandemic, which subjected the Brazilian educational system to remote teaching. At the time the workshops were conducted, the use of masks in indoor environments, such as classrooms, was still mandatory. Despite the post-pandemic context and the various obstacles encountered during the workshop sessions, the motivation, engagement in activities, and spoken and written records by the participants suggest that the activities proposed by the workshops can contribute to creating environments of meaningful learning.
