Abstract in English
In the linear sigma model, the implementation of chiral symmetry requires a scalar meson, whose existence has been much debated along the last four decades. Recently, evidences of this particle were found in a experiment done at Fermilab. The interpretation of these experimental results relies on theoretical models for the dynamics of resonances. In this work, the role of chiral symmetry in these models is studied and it is shown that this symmetry is rather important in determining the expressions that should be used to describe scalar resonances at low-energies.
