Keywords in Portuguese
Física nuclear

Abstract in English
The present work describes the assembly and characterization of an electronic cosmic ray telescope. The sensitive elements of the apparatus are Iarocci tubes. When an ionizing particle passes through a tube, it generates a localized electrical discharge. In the telescope, cosmic ray muons pass through several tubes, allowing to reconstruct the trajectories and determine from which sky direction each muon comes. The main objectives of the Microsul experiment are to look for regions of anisotropy and discrete sources of cosmic rays in the celestial sphere. There are few mappings of this kind carried out to date in the southern celestial hemisphere. The experience acquired by the team with the use of Iarocci-type detectors, the acquisition and analysis of data with specially developed computer programs, and the acquisition electronics used are reported.
