Abstract in English
The cladistic analysis of Callistoplacinae (Callistochitonidae) was presented based on 175 characters and 39 species. Support for Callistoplacinae was corroborated by different studies based on traditional data and the elevation in family status of Callistochitonidae was recovered. Callistoplacinae comprises a genus with six species. The morphological data support a new phylogenetic proposal in which the then recognized genera Calloplax and Ischnoplax are now interpreted as Callistoplax in order to maintain the nomenclatural stability of the group.
