A obra de Tavinho Moura é, de forma recorrente, atrelada a seu estado de origem, quer sob a justificativa da forte presença em seu trabalho, de elementos considerados constitutivos de uma cultura popular mineira, quer pela afirmação, até por parte do próprio artista, da presença da chamada "mineiridade" em sua produção. A fim de compreender a força que o imaginário acerca da tal "mineiridade" possui na confecção da realidade, ou ainda o seu poder de dar sentido e conformar práticas e valores sociais, políticos e culturais, com destaque neste estudo, para este último, propomos analisar nas paisagens sonoras produzidas na obra musical de Tavinho Moura, a partir do final da década de 1970 até 2014, como se dá a presença da chamada cultura popular mineira em sua obra. E ainda, se há e de que forma a presença dessa tal mineiridade, na produção do artista, bem como vislumbrar o quanto a força do lugar pode ser condicionante na construção de uma obra artística, haja vista a existência de uma geograficidade intrínseca. Para tanto, selecionamos dezesseis canções que estão distribuídas em quatro de seus dezoito álbuns: Como Vai Minha Aldeia (1978 - RCA Victor), Engenho Trapizonga (1982 - EMI-Odeon), Conspiração dos Poetas (1997 - Independente) e Minhas Canções Inacabadas (2014 - Dubas).

The work of Tavinho Moura is usually intertwined to his birthplace, which is either justified by the strong presence of elements considered constitutive of a popular culture of Minas Gerais State in his work, or by the assertion of the presence of the so-called "mineiridade", in his production even by the artist himself. In order to get a better understanding about such an imaginary power evoked by such "mineiridade" in the reality creation, or even its power in giving sense and to combine social practices and values, politics and cultures - which is highlighted in this study. We intent to analyze how the so-called Mineira Popular Culture in his production takes place, in the soundscapes produced in the musical work of Tavinho Moura, from late 1970s to 2014. Furthermore, whether exists and how the presence of such "mineiridade" takes place in the artist production, as well as to glimpse how the influence of the place can be determining in the creation of the artistic work, considering the existence of an intrinsic geograficity. To this, we selected sixteen songs that are distributed in four of his eighteen albums: Como Vai Minha Aldeia (1978 - RCA Victor), Engenho Trapizonga (1982 - EMI-Odeon), Conspiração dos Poetas (1997 - Independente) e Minhas Canções Inacabadas (2014 - Dubas).
