Este trabalho visa apresentar os principais aspectos relacionados às novas tecnologias e arquiteturas elétricas aplicáveis aos veículos automotores, analisando suas características técnicas face aos sistemas atuais. Em particular, destaca-se a comparação entre a aplicação de sistemas elétricos em 36V / 42V, em corrente contínua (CC) e alternada (CA), e o sistema elétrico em 12V / 14V CC. Apresenta-se, assim, uma revisão da literatura sobre este tema, discutindo-se, de uma forma abrangente, a situação atual e as eventuais conseqüências da implementação de sistemas em 36V / 42V em CC ou CA para os componentes elétricos embarcados de última geração. As características técnicas das arquiteturas para aplicação de tal sistema elétrico, propostas na literatura disponível, são apresentadas, e os diferentes pontos de vista, relacionados à adoção desta nova tecnologia, são considerados no desenvolvimento deste trabalho. A análise destas arquiteturas considera índices de mérito, definidos de acordo com critérios específicos sugeridos neste trabalho, e a aplicação de uma metodologia de avaliação, permitindo, assim, que o compêndio final desta análise seja apresentada e discutida de forma conclusiva.

The purpose of this work is to present the main aspects related to the new technologies and electrical architectures applicable to automotive vehicles, analyzing their technical characteristics before the current electrical systems. In particular, emphasis is given to a comparison between the application of 36V / 42V electrical system, in direct current (DC) and alternate current (AC), and 12V / 14V DC electrical system. A literature review about the mentioned subject is presented, discussing, in a widely basis, the current situation and the eventual consequences of the 36V / 42V electrical system implementation, in DC or AC, on last generation on-board electrical components. The technical characteristics of the architectures considered for the implementation of that electrical system, proposed in the available literature, are presented, and the different point of views, related to the adoption of this new technology, are considered during the development of this work. The analysis of those architectures considers merit indexes, defined according to specific criterions suggested in this work, and the application of an assessment methodology, allowing, therefore, a conclusive presentation and discussion of the final compendium of this analysis.
