Abstract in English
Burial of persons is a type of accident that requires a quick detection to assist rescue teams to the rescue of the victim with life. The proposal of this work and the use of UWB technology with a network of antennas and a processing algorithm to locate people buried alive through their vital signs (breathing and heartbeats). This work presents the design of a network of antennas horn with efficiency and a high gain. This network has a beam well directed to promote the maximum penetration. It presents tests performed in walls made of blocks and in dry sand which represents the ground. The algorithm processes the signals detected by the network of antennas, performs the detection of vital signs and removes the clutter. The frequency range of operation issued by the aerials of the network is a factor of great importance, because adequate range allows better penetration and identifies the vital signs. The results obtained indicate the operation of the prototype proposed and will enable new prospects for future work.
