Abstract in English
This dissertation presents the implications that arise from considering the firm as a system. Contrary from what is frequently considered, the principles and ideas generated with the advent of systems are applicable not only to activities which envolve computers but to all activities of the firm. first of all, the history of the development of the Systems Theory is presented; then, the fundamental concepts of the theory are emphasized and finally such concepts and their consequences are applied to a particular type of system: the firm.
