As abordagens ágeis de projetos estão cada vez mais presentes no ambiente organizacional, na busca das empresas por melhores resultados e maior agilidade de resposta às mudanças de cenário. Entretanto, ainda é verificado no ambiente de pesquisa pouca maturidade sobre o assunto, comparativamente aos métodos tradicionais de gestão de projetos. Diante disso, é objetivo geral desta dissertação identificar as abordagens ágeis de projeto em larga escala, explorando os barreiras e benefícios de sua aplicação e os possíveis efeitos das barreiras sobre benefícios. Para tanto, entende-se necessário fazer o mapeamento do estado da arte na literatura em Gerenciamento de Projetos Lean e Ágil; identificar os benefícios e barreiras da aplicação do Gerenciamento Ágil de Projetos em Larga Escala; verificar as relações entre os benefícios e as barreiras do Gerenciamento Ágil de Projetos em Larga Escala e verificar o efeito mediador das barreiras organizacionais ao estudar as relações de efeito entre barreiras do método ágil e os benefícios identificados da aplicação em larga escala. Esta dissertação está estruturada em 3 artigos, sendo um publicado, outro em processo de revisão e um último sendo preparado para submissão. Os métodos de pesquisa incluem revisão sistemática da literatura, a partir de análise bibliométrica, de conteúdo e de redes. Também é feita pesquisa survey, com análise estatística aplicada às respostas obtidas. O artigo 1 aborda a literatura referente o Gerenciamento Lean e Ágil de projetos, e mostra em seus resultados maior maturidade nas pesquisas relativas ao Ágil. O artigo 2 trata do Gerenciamento Ágil de Projetos em larga escala, sumarizando barreiras e benefícios relatados na literatura e trazendo reflexões sobre possíveis relações entre as barreiras e os benefícios encontrados. Com isso, o artigo 3 é construído com base em uma pesquisa Survey aplicada a profissionais do ambiente de Gestão de Projetos, trazendo a percepção profissional das barreiras e benefícios identificados na literatura. Os resultados permitem a análise exploratória de modelos estruturais que identificam efeito direto de barreiras do método ágil e benefícios, e o efeito indireto das barreiras do método ágil, intermediadas por barreiras organizacionais, sobre os benefícios.

Agile project approaches are increasingly present in the organizational environment, in the search of companies for better results and greater agility in responding to changes in the scenario. However, in the research environment, there is still little maturity on the subject, compared to traditional project management methods. Thus, the general objective of this dissertation is to identify agile approaches to large-scale design, exploring the barriers and benefits of their application and the possible effects of barriers on benefits. Therefore, it is necessary to map the state of the art in the literature on Lean and Agile Project Management; identify the benefits and barriers of applying Agile Project Management on a large scale; verify the relationships between the benefits and barriers of Agile Large-Scale Project Management and verify the mediating effect of organizational barriers by studying the effect relationships between barriers of the agile method and the identified benefits of large-scale application. This dissertation is divided into 3 articles, one being published, the other being revised and the last one being prepared for submission. The research methods include systematic literature review, based on bibliometric, content and network analysis. Survey research is also carried out, with statistical analysis applied to the responses obtained. Article 1 addresses the literature referring to Lean and Agile Project Management and shows in its results greater maturity in research related to Agile. Article 2 deals with Agile Project Management on a large scale, summarizing barriers and benefits reported in the literature and bringing reflections on possible relationships between barriers and benefits found. Thus, article 3 is based on a survey survey applied to professionals in the Project Management environment, bringing a professional perception of the barriers and benefits identified in the literature. The results allow the exploratory analysis of structural models that identify the direct effect of agile method barriers and benefits, and the indirect effect of agile method barriers, mediated by organizational barriers, on benefits.
