Este trabalho apresenta uma proposta de metodologia para execução de projetos de turismo náutico fluvial ou, mais especificamente, navegação turística em águas interiores, trechos curtos, utilizando-se embarcações de pequeno e médio porte (16 a 80 passageiros) com baixo custo operacional e investimentos modestos atendendo aos anseios do pequeno e médio empreendedor turístico. A metodologia proposta contempla uma série de levantamentos sócio-econômicos, análise da infra-estrutura de apoio e dos pólos emissores e receptores turísticos e as possibilidades de uma navegação atrativa e segura, aplicável à maioria dos nossos cursos de água de reconhecido interesse para turismo e lazer. Foram pesquisados também diversos arranjos de embarcações e seus dados técnicos básicos. O desempenho da metodologia desenvolvida será avaliado em cada projeto específico por duas figuras de mérito adequadas ao interesse dos empreendedores, que são: o custo para o turista (custo-benefício) e o custo operacional para o empreendedor.

This work presents a proposal for a methodology to the conduction of projects of fluvial nautical tourism or, more specifically, tourist sailing in interior waters, short distances, using ships of small and medium tonnage (16 to 80 passengers) with low operational cost and modest investments assisting to the small and medium tourist enterprising longings. The proposed methodology contemplates a series of socioeconomic researches, analysis of the support infrastructure and of the generating and receiving tourist poles and the possibilities of an attractive and safe sailing, applicable to most of our streams of water with recognized interest for tourism and recreation. Several arrangements of ships and their basic technical data were also investigated. The performance of the developed methodology will be evaluated in each specific project by the appreciation of two merit parameters proper to the entrepreneurs' interest, that are: the cost for the tourist (cost-benefit) and the operational cost for the entrepreneur.
