Abstract in English
The mathematical basis involved in graphical routines associated to pre and post processing of data for the finite element method, including stress level contour plotting, hidden lines removal and deformed structure display are discussed. Two new algorithms which take into account finite element, meshes characteristics are presented. The first is an adaptation of the Roberts algorithm for hidden lines removal and the second is applied to the stress contour plotting problem. From the ideas presented in this work, NAVGRAF, a computer graphics program which can be used to aid the pre and post processing of data for the finite element method phases is developed.
