O presente trabalho tem como objetivo estabelecido para a pesquisa o desenvolvimento e estudo da aplicação de controlador "fuzzy" para um submarino em manobras de profundidade. Mais do que projetar um controlador ideal que atue em uma planta específica, este trabalho busca estudar as diversas formas como pode ser projetado um controlador "fuzzy" tanto em modelos lineares como em modelos não lineares. São estabelecidas missões para o controlador: manutenção de uma dada profundidade (cota periscópica) e manobra de mudança de cota. A aplicação do piloto nos submarinos em manobras de profundidade permite que estas manobras fiquem mais precisas e econômicas. Os testes realizados a partir das simulações de manobras do submarino mostraram que o piloto automático tem um bom desempenho inclusive em condições ambientais diversas.

The main research point of this following piece of work is to develop and study the application of the "fuzzy" controller for submarine depth manoeuvrings. More than projecting and ideal controller acting in a specific plan, this present work seeks the study and analysis of the many forms for which a fuzzy controller can be projected to, considering the linear and non-linear models. During this research, different missions are going to be established for the controller, such as: keeping a certain depth (periscope quota); and quota change manoeuvring. The application of pilot to the submarines in depth manoeuvres are going to allow such manoeuvres to be kept in a more economical and precise way. In conclusion, accordingly to the submarine manoeuvring simulations, we shall demonstrate that the automatic pilot possesses a good performance even when submitted to adverse weather situations.
