Este trabalho mostra as principais considerações que foram levadas em conta durante o desenvolvimento do Modelo de Síntese para o Projeto de Concepção de navios de Guerra do tipo Patrulha, com deslocamento entre 800 e 1800 toneladas. As principais restrições técnicas são apresentadas e são feitos comentários sobre os principais critérios de avaliação de navios de guerra, indicando os valores de mérito adotados pelo Modelo de Síntese. O processo de geração de alternativas é indicado, bem como processo de otimização do programa. São analisadas as faixas de aplicabilidade das principais variáveis envolvidas e discutidos os modelos matemáticos do programa principal e das várias sub-rotinas. No final são apresentados dois exemplos de aplicação e as principais conclusões e recomendações do trabalho.

This work describes the main considerations in developing a synthesis model for the Conception Design of Patrl Ships, with displacement between 800 and 1.800 tons. The main technical restrictions are presented and comments are made on the principal evaluation criteria, showing the selected figures of merit. The alternative Generation process is shown as well as the optimization method. The applicability range of the main variables is analised, with the discussion of the mathematical models of the main program and the various subroutines. Finally two application examples are presented along with the main conclusions and recomendations.T
