Embarcações de pesca

Abstract in English
This report presentes a computer assisted design methodology and performance analysis for fishing vessels. The basic model considered is that of a trawler. The methodology can also be extended to other types of fishing vessels since some of the basic subroutines are valid for other types of vessels. The design methodology is based on a number of computer programs, for the design, coupled with a simulation program for the fishing operations. The end results is an economic evaluation of the vessel.
