Abstract in English
This work introduces a conventional powertrain automation proposal, inclusing engine, clutch and gearbox. The advantages and desirable characteristics for adopting these systems, for instance in bus fleets, are discussed. Finally, a simulation program for both automated and conventional powertrain systems is developed and commented, and the simulation resultas for different operational conditions confirm advantages of the proposed automation.
