Sintonia de controladores PID por algoritmos genéticos.

Abstract in English
This work deals with the tuning of controllers by means of a genetic algorithm. A proportional, integral and derivative (PID) controller was tuned using the proposed method. The work includes a procedure validation through performance comparison between controllers designed using classical techniques and those projected with aid of a genetic algorithm. The tuning method is then applied to synthesize a PID for a wind turbine. Results of simulations are presented, analyzed and also compared to those obtained from simulations on controllers designed by classical methods.
