Abstract in English
A mathematical simulation model was developed to calculate the cooling loads in a cab. Fied experiments were conducted do avaliate the conduction cooling loads from walls, glasses, firewall and the solar radiation model. Precision less then 5% were gotten between model results and experimental data. Cooling loads from summer and winter tipical situations were avaliated. In the summer situation, studies of the effects of the orientation of the cab, the time, the external paint and the tinto f the glass in changing the conduction and solar radiation cooling loads, were conducted. Cab orientation and the time can change this cooling loads by 225% and light-colored paint and tinted glasses can reduce this cooling loads by 30%.
