Geradores de vapor operam em pressões superiores a atmosférica, de modo tal que, caracterizam-se riscos de explosões quando se encerra a vida útil de componentes críticos. No presente trabalho são analisados mecanismos causadores desses riscos e estratégias tecnológicas para sua avaliação. Uma proposta final e formulada, objetivando desenvolverem-se instrumentos que tornem mais poderosos os atuais métodos de controle de deformações e fraturas por fluência.

Vapor generators operate in ranges of pressures higher than the atmospheric in such a way that explosion risks become presente when the critical componentes useful life finishes. This issue analyzes causing mechanisms of these risks and the correspondente assessment technologics strategies. One proposition is set with the objective of to developing instruments to increase the power of the current creep and creep-fracture control methods.
