O presente trabalho apresenta o desenvolvimento de um simulador dinâmico flexível de um robô de pintura servo-hidráulico e do próprio processo de pintura. Os modelos matemáticos adequados foram computacionalmente implementados. O simulador mostrou-se consistente em seus resultados, consumindo grande tempo computacional. Avalia-se o desempenho de um controlador PID (proporcional-integral-derivativo) digital - no controle dos movimentos de um robô de pintura, - por meio de simulações. Os resultados foram razoáveis, revelando contudo algumas limitações do controlador. Apresenta-se, ainda, breve discussão sobre a utilização de alguns modelos matemáticos no projeto de sistemas robóticos.

This work presents the development of a flexible dynamics spray painting robots simulator together with the modelling and simulation of just the painting process involved. The adequate mathematical models were computationaly implemented. The simulator generate consistente results, consuming large computational processing time. It is considered the performance o fone digital PID (proportional-integral-derivative) controller in controlling the spray painting robots movements, by means of simulations. The results were reasonable but there are some applicability controllers limitations.
